Cut-Rate Commander - Episode 29 - Featuring Rem Karolus, Stalwart Slayer
The Blade of the Inquisitors has taken a break from his hunt of Innistrads evil's to helm our latest Boros build in which he - Rem Karolus, Stalwart Slayer - will burn his foes (and our opponents life totals) to cinders with cleansing flame.

Making the most of his penchant for hurling holy flames at his enemies, we'll be building a Boros Burn deck with heavy emphasis on but AOE damage and burn spells that under normal circumstances would hit all players equally, but with our commander in play will only be hitting our opponents creatures and life totals while our commander shields us from the harm And seeing as we will not be affected by these effects, we'll be doing our best to make them as potent as possible - increasing their damage, doubling up on their effects, and ensuring that we can rekindle them from the grave to be used again. But we will need to make sure that our commander lives to tell the tale, since Rem, the selfless Cathar that he is, doesn't actually protect himself from our flames. So we'll be running plenty of ways to keep him from burning away along our opponents creatures and life totals, keeping him around to shield us from the flames until only we are left standing in among the embers.
