Cut-Rate Commander - Precon Upgrade Guide for Vampiric Bloodline
Starting off the Channels first Precon Upgrade guide, we'll be taking a look at the Vampiric Bloodline Precon from Innistrad Crimson Vow and its patriarch - Strefan, Maurer Progenitor.

Playing to Strefan's strength of generating blood tokens as damage is taken then using that blood to cheat his vampire brood into play - this build will aim to maximize the value of that by tweaking this precon into a more big evasive vampire build with a splash of +1/+1 counter generation. More big vampire (or swapping our some of the existing ones for more potent picks) will get us more value out of our commanders vampire summoning, in addition to keeping the blood flowing to summon even more vamps as they get over blockers for direct damage. And by adding +1/+1 counters to the mix, which some vampires already have an affinity for, we'll be able to upgrade our smaller vamps into real threats and big vampires to terrifying ones. And of course, we'll need to make sure that Strefan lives to continue spawning his progeny, so protect sources will need to be implemented to make sure Strefan lives and keep the blood flowing until our opponents are bled dry.
