Max and Lucas definitely make a great partnering since Max creates clues that Lucas can use for his ability, plus Max can also untap him. However, Max could also potentially untap any of the other 10+ pingers in the deck. Pingers that can kill, exile, sacrifice, or steal any of our opponents' creatures. Also, they're boyfriend/girlfriend in the show so their partnering is a flavor win.
