Cut-Rate Commander - Precon Upgrade Guide for the Squirreled Away Precon from Bloomburrow & its commander - Hazel of the Rootbloom. #mtg #commander #edh #mtgbloomburrow
Hey folks! Submitted for your approval, we have the 4th and final precon upgrade guide for the Bloomburrow Set - this time covering the Squirreled Away precon and its face commander – the outwardly stoic and mysterious, but secretly kind and caring - Hazel of the Rootbloom.
In this upgrade, we’ll be pulling back slightly from the squirrel aspect of the deck (as Golgari has better commanders at its disposal for 100% Squirrel Tribal) and instead build upon the pure token aspect of the build – aiming to take advantage of the massive amount of mana generation Hazel can turn our tokens into and her ability to multiply our most dangerous ones – which we’ll do by adding in more repeatable token generators to enable Hazel, additional ways to empower our creature tokens to they can overwhelm our opponents with their numbers & power, and even slotting in a handful of ways to create token copies of our non-tokens so that Hazel can double up on our entire creature base for even more versatility – enabling Hazel to overwhelm our opponents with both the massive amount of mana and tokens she is capable of generating.
Let me know if the comments below if you agree with my choices and/or what you would add to the deck instead.
