Cut-Rate Commander - Episode 90 - Featuring The Mycotyrant from The Lost Caverns of Ixalan #mtg #edh #commander #mtgixalan #mtglci

Hey Folks! Submitted for your approval, we have our 3rd Cut-Rate Commander build for The Lost Caverns of Ixalan – the descend focused fungus The Mycotyrant.

In this build, we'll be going all in on enabling our commanders ability to grow our board with fungi tokens (and thereby growing itself) by filling up our graveyard with as many permanents as we can. As such, this build is going to be permanents all the way down - forgoing instants and sorceries so we can run more permanent sources of self mill, self discard, and self sacrifice to proc The Mycotyrant with every single card that hits our bin. That, coupled with multiple ways to recur resources from our graveyard - effectively turning it into a second hand for us play - and ways to empower our fungi to be as dangerous as their progenitor - enabling The Mycotyrant and his brood of mycoids to grow in number and in strength until they overwhelm, consume, and assimilate our opponents.

Let me know if the comments below if you agree with my choices and/or what you would add to the deck instead. Also, let me know know who you would like to see next by voting on in the comments on the three choices of commander listed at the end of the video.
