Welcome to Alchemist's Refuge! Today, I show a little behind the scenes of how I go about choosing my commanders for The Bloodhall. Looking at Abzan, we see that there are many, many commanders that are really popular in the color combination of Abzan leaving us with just two options. With one of those options being Daghatar, we go for building around Teneb the Harvester! I talk about what the deck has to be in relation to the other options in Abzan AND to my previous decks. After figuring out what to do (eventually), I go crazy on getting this deck to a fun position! Will I manage to "iron" out the kinks, like I did with Karn? Or will Teneb only harvest losses?
