Happy Halloween! While Mind Flayer might not necessarily be the best monoblack commander at the helm of a thievery deck, it's still a lot of fun to play because you can include all those good thievery cards. Then, you have a 9/9 beater, which is nothing to scoff at. Either way, being able to "draw" 3 cards at each end step is amazing in and of itself, even if it's your opponents' cards. Well, especially if your opponents' cards XD.
