Steps
  1. Activate Pestilence Demon by paying , dealing 1 damage to each creature and player.
  2. Each creature dealt damage by Pestilence Demon dies due to Pestilence Demon's deathtouch.
  3. Scythe of the Wretched triggers for each creature that dies this way, returning them to the battlefield under your control, ensuring that Pestilence Demon is returned last so that Scythe of the Wretched will be attached to it.
  4. You may repeat this combo as desired.
