How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing another nontoken green Insect. |
2 | The Insect dies, triggering Zask and Verdant Succession. |
3 | Resolve the Zask trigger, putting the Insect on the bottom of your library from your graveyard and causing you to mill two cards. |
4 | Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger, searching your library for that Insect and putting it onto the battlefield. |
5 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1, causing target player to mill cards equal to the Insect's power. |
6 | Repeat. |
