- Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding

- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Restless Apparition, adding
. - When Restless Apparition dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter and a vigilance counter on it.
- Activate Tayam by paying
, removing a -1/-1 counter from Devoted Druid, and both counters from Restless Apparition. - Holding priority, repeat steps 3 and 4 one additional time.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Restless Apparition, adding .
- Resolve Tayam's ability from step 5, causing you to mill three cards and returning Restless Apparition from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Repeat.
