How does this combo work?

Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 2.
2
Cast Rally the Galadhrim by paying 2 and tapping Scholar of the Ages and Great Whale, targeting Scholar of the Ages
3
Rally the Galadhrim's conspire ability triggers, copying it, targeting Great Whale.
4
Resolve the copy of Rally the Galadhrim, creating a token copy of Great Whale.
5
When the Great Whale token enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
6
Resolve the original Rally the Galadhrim, creating a token copy of Scholar of the Ages.
7
When the Scholar of the Ages token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Rally the Galadhrim from your graveyard to your hand.
8
Repeat, tapping the Scholar of the Ages and Great Whale tokens when casting Rally the Galadhrim instead.
