Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Reins of the Vinesteed by paying , attaching it to a Spirit. |
2 | Reins of the Vinesteed enters the battlefield, triggering Chishiro, creating a 2/2 Spirit token. |
3 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the creature with Reins of the Vinesteed attached. |
4 | The creature dies, triggering Reins of the Vinesteed, returning Reins of the Vinesteed from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to a Spirit. |
5 | Reins of the Vinesteed enters the battlefield, triggering Chishiro, creating a 2/2 Spirit token. |
6 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to the Spirit's power. |
7 | Repeat from step 3. |
