How does this combo work?

2 | Cast Rally the Galadhrim by paying and tapping Scholar of the Ages and Great Whale, targeting Scholar of the Ages |
3 | Rally the Galadhrim's conspire ability triggers, copying it, targeting Great Whale. |
4 | Resolve the copy of Rally the Galadhrim, creating a token copy of Great Whale. |
5 | When the Great Whale token enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands. |
6 | Resolve the original Rally the Galadhrim, creating a token copy of Scholar of the Ages. |
7 | When the Scholar of the Ages token enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Rally the Galadhrim from your graveyard to your hand. |
8 | Repeat, tapping the Scholar of the Ages and Great Whale tokens when casting Rally the Galadhrim instead. |
