How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Fateful Handoff by paying , causing you to draw four cards and give control of Notion Thief to an opponent. |
2 | During that opponent's draw step, they draw a card. |
3 | Consecrated Sphinx triggers, causing the opponent to draw two cards due to Notion Thief. |
4 | Consecrated Sphinx triggers twice. |
5 | Resolve the first trigger, causing the opponent to draw two cards due to Notion Thief. |
6 | Repeat from step 4 until the opponent loses the game due to drawing from an empty library. |
