Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate up to five lands by tapping them, adding at least . |
2 | Activate Tortured Existence by paying and discarding Great Whale, targeting any other creature card in your graveyard. |
3 | Hashaton triggers, causing you to pay to create a token copy of Great Whale that is a 4/4 Zombie. |
4 | When the Great Whale token enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands. |
5 | Resolve the Tortured Existence ability, returning the targeted creature from your graveyard to your hand. |
6 | Activate Tortured Existence by paying and discarding a creature card, targeting Great Whale. |
7 | Hashaton triggers. Choose not to pay. |
8 | Resolve the Tortured Existence ability, returning Great Whale from your graveyard to your hand. |
9 | Repeat. |
