Welcome to episode 106 of the Commander's Guild: "Reanimator in Gruul? It's More Likely Than You Think" Every week I go to scryfall.com and randomly select a card, making a budget (under $100) commander deck around it and showcasing a gameplay video of the deck. This week I'm joined by Bilal, Shawn, and McRae for the first game and Doodle, Nina, and Lena for the second game.

This week's random card is Aether Rift (Suggested by Doodle on Patreon/Discord) and uses Gallia of the Endless Dance as the commander. We're not using Gallia for her Satyr abilities but since she can discard cards she's perfect for a reanimator commander. Granted, Gruul isn't the best color pair for reanimator so we're running some cards that are a bit overcosted or situational but we do get the benefit of playing a ton of Phoenixes!
