Welcome to episode 145 of the Commander's Guild: "A Nightmarish Bouncy Ball". Every week I go to scryfall.com and randomly select a card, making a budget (under $100) commander deck around it and showcasing a gameplay video of the deck. This week I'm joined by Cow, Richard, and Luke.
This week's random card is Umbris, Fear Manifest and it's also the commander. If we have a win condition in our command zone, all we need to do is find a way to continuously trigger its ETB ability. By filling the deck with blink effects (alongside other Horrors and Nightmares) we can exile our opponents' libraries while protecting ourselves with an efficient control gameplan.
