Jake and Joel are Magic - Best Black EDH Kaldheim Cards [Tergrid, God of Fright, Rise of the Dread Marn, Draugr Necromancer]

In this video of Jake and Joel are Magic, Jake and Joel discuss some of the best Commander (EDH) cards, to come out of Magic: the Gathering's latest set, Kaldheim. Today we discuss 3 black cards that we think will make waves in MTG's most popular format: Commander. Tergrid, God of Fright offers us a powerful commander and a great card for the 99 that has great graveyard synergy. Rise of the Dread Marn is an excellent new card, with Kaldheim's new Foretell mechanic, and is a perfect way to avoid being blown out by a board-wipe. And Finally, Draugr Necromancer will work in your 99 as a way to get the most out of removing your opponents creatures. This card coverts your snow basics into mana of any color, as long as your are casting spells exiled with. We are going to go over all of it. Check out the video. As always, thank you for spending your time with us.

What is Commander:
Commander, officially recognized on June 17, 2011, originated from a format called EDH (Elder Dragon Highlander-- there can only be one). The first time we played EDH was around 2009. It is easily the best way to play Magic: The Gathering. The idea was to have a casual format with 100 cards and only a single copy of any one card, with a General: a singular Legendary Creature card in its own zone that can be cast any time, once you have the mana for it. If your general is removed, it goes up by a casting cost of 2 for each time it is removed. Once WOTC officially recognized the format and printed the first Commander product, your General was instead called your Commander and instead of the format being called EDH, it instead became recognized as Commander. If you ever hear anyone say EDH, they are talking about Commander. Make sure to know the cards that are banned in the format before building your deck (listed below).
