I'm an artificer at heart. I love playing artifacts in Commander, and I've built many Artifact decks over the years. Am I getting tired of it? Apparently not, because I've just decided to start a new project: build a monocolored Artifact deck for every color.

But there's more to it. I've also set a big restriction for myself: no repeat cards, other than mana rocks and nonbasic lands. So while Sol RingSol Ring will still go in all of the decks, I'll have to pick and choose which color gets Solemn SimulacrumSolemn Simulacrum, which deck gets Mystic ForgeMystic Forge, and which one gets Scrap TrawlerScrap Trawler.

Is this a masochistic endeavor? Probably. But you, dear reader, can help ease the pain of this ridiculous project by deciding who the commanders are for three of the decks.

Who Should Lead My Green, Blue, and Black Artifact Decks?

I've already decided on my commanders for red and white. Red will be the partner pair of Dargo, the ShipwreckerDargo, the Shipwrecker and Toggo, Goblin WeaponsmithToggo, Goblin Weaponsmith, and white will be led by Oswald FiddlebenderOswald Fiddlebender.

But I just can't decide on the other colors. So I'm asking you all to help me decide by voting in the three polls below. Vote by February 13th.

Black Artifact Commander

Some good options here, especially from the Necron Dynasties precon.

Blue Artifact Commander

I know what you're thinking. "Why not Urza, Lord High ArtificerUrza, Lord High Artificer?" Because he's too powerful, and I don't wanna get hated off the table.

Green Artifact Commander

This is the toughest one. There just aren't any good options here. But we'll make do.
