Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Ghave's first ability by paying
and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token. - 2When the Saproling enters the battlefield, Tribute to the World Tree triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on the Saproling.
- 3Activate Ghave's first ability by paying and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control.
- 4Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Saproling, adding
. - 5Resolve the Ghave ability, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
- 6Repeat from step 2.
- 7Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Saproling tokens, and you may either use the remaining +1/+1 counters for Ghave's first ability and/or sacrifice the Saprolings to Ghave's second ability.
