- All permanents on the battlefield (Warden of the Grove with a counter on it on the battlefield and Persist Creature without a -1/-1 counter on it on the battlefield).
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing the persist creature.
- 2When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- 3When the persist creature enters, Warden of the Grove triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature.
- 4Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
- 5Repeat
