Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Astral Dragon by paying |
2 | Astral Dragon enters the battlefield, creating two token copies of Parallax Wave that are 3/3 Dragons in addition to their other types. |
3 | Active the first Parallax Wave token's first ability by removing a fade counter from it, exiling Astral Dragon. |
4 | Activate the same Parallax Wave token's ability up to four more times, targeting any creatures. |
5 | Resolve any of those abilities that target creatures you own, exiling them. |
6 | In response to the remaining abilities, activate the second Parallax Wave token's ability by removing a fade counter from it, exiling the first Parallax Wave token.The first Parallax Wave token leaves the battlefield, returning Astral Dragon and any other creatures you exiled from exile to the battlefield. |
7 | Resolve the remaining activated abilities from Parallax Wave that target creatures your opponents control, permanently exiling them. |
8 | Repeat from step 2. |
9 | Once you have infinite Parallax Wave tokens, you may repeat the combo but target any other noncreature permanent in step 2, getting infinite creature copies of them. |
