Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Nadier, adding . |
2 | Choose to return Nadier to the command zone from your graveyard. |
3 | Nadier dies, triggering its second ability and Pitiless Plunderer. |
4 | Resolve the Nadier trigger, creating a number of 1/1 Elf Warrior creature tokens equal to its power. |
5 | Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token. |
6 | Activate the Treasure token by tapping and sacrificing it, adding . |
7 | Cast Nadier from the command zone by paying  and command tax, if applicable. |
8 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing an Elf Warrior, adding . |
9 | The Elf Warrior dies, triggering Pitiless Plunderer and Nadier's first ability. |
10 | Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token. |
11 | Resolve the Nadier trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it. |
12 | Repeat from step 8 for each remaining Elf Warrior. |
13 | Repeat from step 1. |
