What do I need to start this combo?
- Acererak the Archlich in hand.
- Umori and Gwenna on the battlefield.
- You have not completed nor are currently venturing in Tomb of Annihilation. Gwenna does not have summoning sickness. "Creature" chosen with Umori.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Gwenna by tapping it, adding
that can only be spent to cast creature spells or activate abilities of creatures. - 2Cast Acererak by paying.
- 3Gwenna triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and untapping it.
- 4Acererak enters the battlefield, returning itself from the battlefield to your hand and causing you to venture into Lost Mine of Phandelver.
- 5Repeat.
