What do I need to start this combo?
- All permanents on the battlefield (Doom Weaver is paired with the persist creature on the battlefield and Persist Creature without a -1/-1 counter on it on the battlefield).
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing the persist creature.
- 2When the persist creature dies, its persist ability and the ability granted to it by Doom Weaver each trigger.
- 3Resolve the second trigger, causing you to draw a card.
- 4Resolve the persist trigger, returning the persist creature from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- 5When the persist creature enters the battlefield, Olivia and Doom Weaver's soulbond ability trigger.
- 6Resolve the Olivia trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and causing you to discard a card.
- 7Resolve the Doom Weaver trigger, repairing it and the persist creature.
- 8Resolve the Viscera Seer ability.
- 9Repeat.
