Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Dark Ritual by paying , adding . |
2 | Cast Not Dead After All by paying , targeting Scholar of the Ages. |
3 | Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Scholar of the Ages. |
4 | When Scholar of the Ages dies, it triggers, as well as any Wicked Role tokens that may have been attached to it. |
5 | Resolve the Wicked Role trigger(s), if applicable, causing each opponent to lose that much life. |
6 | Resolve the Scholar of the Ages trigger, returning itself to the battlefield from your graveyard and creating a Wicked Role token attached to it. |
7 | When Scholar of the Ages enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Not Dead After All and Dark Ritual to your hand from your graveyard. |
8 | Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1. |
9 | Repeat. |
