Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Etali by paying . |
2 | When Etali enters the battlefield, it triggers. |
3 | Holding priority, activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Etali. |
4 | When Etali dies Mortuary triggers, putting Etali on top of your library from your graveyard. |
5 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from Step 3, ensure that you do not target yourself. |
6 | Resolve the Etali trigger from step 2, causing you to exile cards from each player's library until you exile a nonland card, with you exiling Etali from your library. |
7 | Cast Etali and any other nonland cards exiled this way without paying their mana costs. |
8 | Repeat from Step 2. |
