Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Gerrard either from your hand or from the command zone by paying  and commander tax, if applicable. |
2 | Gerrard enters the battlefield, triggering Cadric, causing you to pay  to create a token copy of Gerrard. |
3 | Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the nontoken Gerrard, adding . |
4 | Gerrard dies, triggering its ability. |
5 | Holding priority, Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing the token Gerrard, adding . |
6 | The token Gerrard dies, returning the nontoken Gerrard from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
7 | Repeat from step 2. |
8 | Resolve all Gerrard triggers, exiling it if it's in your graveyard and returning all artifacts and creatures that were put into your graveyard this turn to the battlefield. |
