Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Dreamstone Hedron's first ability by tapping it, adding . |
2 | Cast Echo Storm by paying  , targeting Rod of Absorption. |
3 | Echo Storm triggers, copying itself for each time you've cast your commander from the command zone this game, with each copy targeting Dreamstone Hedron. |
4 | Resolve all copies of Echo Storm, creating that many token copies of Dreamstone Hedron. |
5 | Resolve the original Echo Storm, creating a token copy of Rod of Absorption and exiling Echo Storm due to Rod of Absorption. |
6 | Activate two Dreamstone Hedron tokens' first abilities by tapping them, adding six . |
7 | Activate the original Rod of Absorption by paying  , tapping and sacrificing it, causing you to cast Echo Storm from exile without paying its mana cost, targeting the Rod of Absorption token. |
