How does this combo work?

2 | When Sage of Fables dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it. |
3 | Activate Sage of Fables by paying  and removing the +1/+1 counter from it, causing you to draw a card. |
4 | Repeat. |
