What do I need to start this combo?
| Savage Beating in hand. | |
| Tetsuo and Swarm Intelligence on the battlefield. | |
| Call to Mind and Relearn in hand or in your graveyard. | |
| Tetsuo has an Equipment attached to it with mana value 5 or greater. Tetsuo does not have summoning sickness and cannot be blocked and killed by an opponent. One of Call to Mind or Relearn must be in your hand, with the other in your graveyard. |
Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Declare Tetsuo as an attacker. Tetsuo triggers, causing you to cast Savage Beating without paying its mana cost, choosing its second mode. |
2 | Swarm Intelligence triggers, copying Savage Beating. |
3 | Resolve both Savage Beatings, causing you to get two additional combat phases after this one. |
4 | Move to your first combat phase. |
5 | Declare Tetsuo as an attacker. Tetsuo triggers, causing you to cast Call to Mind without paying its mana cost, targeting Relearn. |
6 | Swarm Intelligence triggers, copying Call to Mind, targeting Savage Beating. |
7 | Resolve both Call to Minds, causing you to return Relearn and Savage Beating from your graveyard to your hand. |
8 | Move to your second combat phase. |
9 | Repeat steps 1 through 4 one additional time. |
10 | Declare Tetsuo as an attacker. Tetsuo triggers, causing you to cast Relearn without paying its mana cost, targeting Call to Mind. |
11 | Swarm Intelligence triggers, copying Relearn, targeting Savage Beating. |
12 | Resolve both Relearns, causing you to return Call to Mind and Savage Beating from your graveyard to your hand. |
13 | Move to your second combat phase, and repeat from step 1. |
