What do I need to start this combo?
| All permanents on the battlefield (Pentavus with two or more +1/+1 counters on it on the battlefield and Thornbite Staff attached to Dalakos on the battlefield). |
Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Dalakos by tapping it, adding that can only be spent to cast artifact spells or to activate abilities of artifacts. |
2 | Activate Pentavus's first ability by paying  and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Pentavite creature token. |
3 | Activate Pentavus's second ability by paying and sacrificing a Pentavite. |
4 | When the Pentavite dies, Dalakos triggers, untapping Dalakos. |
5 | Resolve the Pentavus ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it. |
6 | Repeat. |
