Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Words of War by paying, replacing the next card you draw.
- 2Attempt to draw a card, with the draw being replaced by Words of War dealing 2 damage to an opponent.
- 3Niv-Mizzet triggers.
- 4Holding priority, activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding at least.
- 5Activate Words of War by paying, replacing the next card you draw.
- 6Resolve the Niv-Mizzet ability, replacing the first card draw with Words of War dealing 2 damage to an opponent, and causing you to draw a card.
- 7Niv-Mizzet triggers, holding priority, activate Mind Over Matter by discarding a card, untapping a mana-producing permanent.
- 8Repeat from step 4.
