What do I need to start this combo?
- All permanents on the battlefield.
- Elenda must be your commander.
- Elenda has power equal to or greater than 2 plus the number of times you've cast Elenda from the command zone this game.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Elenda, adding
. - 2Choose to return Elenda to the command zone from your graveyard.
- 3When Elenda dies, its second ability triggers, creating a number of 1/1 Vampire creature tokens equal to three times Elenda's power.
- 4Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a Vampire, adding
. - 5Repeat step 4 until you have enough mana to cast Elenda.
- 6Cast Elenda from the command zone by paying
plus commander tax, if applicable. - 7Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a Vampire token, adding.
- 8When the Vampire dies, Elenda's first ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
- 9Repeat from step 7 for each remaining Vampire token.
