What do I need to start this combo?
- All permanents on the battlefield (Eirdu and on the battlefield and Mindless Automaton without a -1/-1 counter on it on the battlefield).
- You are able to kill Arcbound Ravager such that it won't have a -1/-1 counter on it when it dies.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Arcbound Ravager by sacrificing Mindless Automaton.
- 2When Mindless Automaton dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
- 3Resolve the Arcbound Ravager ability.
- 4Repeat.
- 5Kill Arcbound Ravager.
- 6When Arcbound Ravager dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Arcbound Ravager from your graveyard to the battlefield. It will have no counters on it due to its modular ability.
- 7Arcbound Ravager dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness
- 8Repeat from step 2.
