Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Abdel Adrian from the command zone by paying and command tax, if applicable. |
2 | When Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, it triggers, exiling Hostage Taker and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token. |
3 | When Hostage Taker leaves the battlefield, Restoration Angel returns from exile to the battlefield. |
4 | When Restoration Angel enters the battlefield, it triggers, blinking Abdel Adrian. |
5 | Abdel Adrian leaves and re-enters the battlefield, causing Hostage Taker to return from exile to the battlefield, and triggering both Hostage Taker and Abdel Adrian's abilities. |
6 | Resolve the Hostage Taker trigger, exiling Restoration Angel until Hostage Taker leaves the battlefield. |
7 | Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Hostage Taker and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token. |
8 | Repeat from step 3. |
