For Pack Crackers and Cube Drafters
Shopping for someone who loves cracking open Magic packs? There's no better gift for this person than a Play Booster box or bundle!
Play Booster boxes typically come with 30 booster packs, while bundles offer 9 booster packs and a few extra collecting accessories like dividers and basic lands.
Collector Booster boxes only come with 15 packs, but contain rare "showcase" cards and almost all cards are foil. There are some special card treatments that can only be found in these boxes, so they're much more expensive than regular Play Booster boxes.
You might find that some booster boxes and bundles are priced higher than others. This is typically due to consumer demand or people buying them to resell later instead of open.
If the price for one box seems too high, see what the prices of others look like to compare before buying.
If your friend or loved one likes to do Cube Drafting, they could probably use a few of these items for storage and organization.
These accessories typically fit multiple deck boxes and have room for extra sleeves or token cards.
For Playing at Game Stores and Conventions
For keeping cards protected while on the go, deck boxes are a must. There are a ton of different varieties and styles, so you can't really go wrong here.
Most Magic players have multiple decks, so having a few extra deck boxes is never a bad thing.
Know a Commander player? They're going to want a box that comfortably holds at least 100 cards.
For Draft and Standard players, a 60 count card box will be the perfect size.
For carrying several decks while on the go, these options will do the trick:
They can't just put your expensive Magic cards on a sticky table. They need a playmat!
Think of these as oversized mousepads that protect cards from scratching and also make it easier to move them around while playing.
Playmats are a must-have accessory for play. Thankfully, there are a ton of different brands and playmat designs to choose from.
They'll need something to carry all that stuff around when they go to conventions.
Most regular or "school" backpacks can do the trick of carrying a few decks and a playmat, but there are also specialized bags that are better suited for carrying multiple decks and Magic accessories.
