On Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, Wizards of the Coast officially announced this year's CommandFest event locations. The vast majority of these events are currently not taking place in North America. In fact, that number of events is only three right now, with only one taking place in the United States. Are you lucky enough to live near one of the locations listed below? Read on, and find out!
CommandFest Locations
According to Magic.gg, Magic: The Gathering's competitive and event news hub, the following locations will host a CommandFest event this year:
- May 22–24, 2026, in Adelaide, Australia—presented by Let's Play Games
- May 22–24, 2026, in Giessen, Germany—presented by JK Entertainment
- May 30–31, 2026, in Beijing, China —presented by Kadou
- July 3–5, 2026, in Tacoma, Washington—presented by Laughing Dragon
- July 11–12, 2026, in Shanghai, China—presented by Kadou
- July 12, 2026, in Osaka, Japan—presented by Hareruya
- August 21–23, 2026, in Toronto, Canada—presented by Face to Face Games
- August 30, 2026, in Yokohama, Japan—presented by Hareruya
- August 29–30, 2026, in Mexico City, Mexico—presented by Necrotower
- September 4–6, 2026, in Bologna, Italy—presented by 4Seasons
- October 23–25, 2026, in Leicester, England—presented by Axion Now
- October 31–November 1, 2026, in Sao Paulo, Brazil—presented by City Class Games
- December 4–6, 2026, in Melbourne, Australia—presented by Let's Play Games
- December 11–13, 2026, in Alexandria, Virginia—presented by eSports Admin
- December 12–14, 2026, in Marl, Germany—presented by JK Entertainment
- Addtionally, Oracle Events will host an event in another APAC location, with that event's location and dates both TBA.
Most notably, the CommandFest events taking place in North America are the following:
- July 3rd-5th in Tacoma, Washington, United States
- August 21st-23rd in Toronto, Canada
- August 29th-30th in Mexico City, Mexico
However, fortunately for Brazilian players, who have so often worried about being snubbed by Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro, there is a CommandFest leg in São Paulo from October 31st through November 1st.
