Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Vish Kal by sacrificing Cathodion. |
2 | Cathodion triggers, adding . |
3 | Resolve the Vish Kal ability, putting 3 +1/+1 counters on it. |
4 | Activate Vish Kal by sacrificing your persist/undying creature. |
5 | The creature's persist/undying ability triggers, returning it to the battlefield with a vigilance counter and the appropriate choice of a +1/+1 or -1/-1 counter. |
6 | Resolve the Vish Kal ability, putting a number of +1/+1 counters on it equal to the sacrificed creature's power. |
7 | Activate Tayam by paying  and removing both counters from your persist/undying creature and one counter from another creature, millling three cards and returning Cathodion from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
8 | Repeat. |
