Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Fain's first ability by tapping it and sacrificing Tenacious Dead. |
2 | Tenacious Dead dies, triggering itself and Fain. |
3 | Resolve the Fain trigger, untapping it. |
4 | Resolve the Tenacious Dead trigger, causing you to pay to return it from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped. |
5 | Resolve the Fain ability from step 1, putting two +1/+1 counters on Crystalline Crawler. |
6 | Activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability twice by removing two counters from it, adding . |
7 | Repeat. |
