How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Puppeteer Clique, adding . |
2 | Puppeteer Clique dies, triggering its persist ability and Blade of the Bloodchief. |
3 | Resolve the Puppeteer Clique trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it. |
4 | Puppeteer Clique enters the battlefield, putting target creature from an opponent's graveyard onto the battlefield under your control until end of turn. |
5 | Resolve the Blade of the Bloodchief trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Putrid Goblin. |
