Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Kuro by paying 1 life, targeting any creature not used for this combo. |
2 | Holding priority, repeat the previous step until you have 1 life remaining. |
3 | Resolve all Kuro abilities. |
4 | Cast Repay in Kind by paying  , causing all life totals to become 1. |
5 | Cast Temporal Extortion by paying . |
6 | If an opponent pays 1 life to counter it, that opponent's life total becomes 0, they lose the game, and you skip the next step. |
7 | Otherwise, resolve Temporal Extortion, gaining an extra turn. |
8 | Activate Canal Dredger by tapping it, putting Temporal Extortion from your graveyard on the bottom of your library. |
9 | Declare Varragoth as an attacker. |
10 | Activate Varragoth's Boast ability by paying  , searching your library for Temporal Extortion and putting on top of your library. |
11 | Go to your next turn. |
12 | Draw Temporal Extortion in your draw step. |
13 | Repeat from step 7. |
