| The undying creature doesn't have a +1/+1 counter on it. Your life total is 2 or higher. |
Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Yawgmoth by paying 1 life and sacrificing the undying creature. |
2 | When the creature dies, Al Bhed Salvagers, Open the Graves and the undying creature's undying ability trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Al Bhed Salvagers trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life. |
4 | Resolve the Open the Graves ability, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token. |
5 | Resolve the undying trigger, returning the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it. |
6 | Resolve the Yawgmoth ability, putting a -1/-1 counter on any creature and drawing a card. |
7 | Activate Yawgmoth by paying 1 life and sacrificing another creature. |
8 | When the creature dies, Al Bhed Salvagers triggers, causing you to gain 1 life and target opponent to lose 1 life |
9 | Resolve the Yawgmoth ability, putting a -1/-1 counter on the undying creature and drawing a card. |
10 | Repeat. |
