What do I need to start this combo?
| All permanents on the battlefield. | |
| You control a creature that has at least one +1/+1 counter on it. You control at least one other creature. Thornbite Staff attached to Xavier Sal. Xavier Sal does not have summoning sickness. You control at least one basic land. |
Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate a basic land you control by tapping it, adding  . |
2 | Activate Xavier Sal's second ability by tapping it and sacrificing a creature. |
3 | When the creature dies, Xavier Sal triggers, untapping Xavier Sal. |
4 | Resolve the Xavier Sal ability from step 1, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control. |
5 | Animation Module triggers, causing you to pay to create a 1/1 Servo artifact creature token. |
6 | Activate Earthcraft by sacrificing the Servo, untapping a basic land you control. |
7 | Repeat. |
8 | Once you have infinite +1/+1 counters among creatures you control, you may instead use Xavier Sal's first ability to get infinite copies of creature tokens you control, and tap those tokens to get infinite mana from basic lands. |
