Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Hellkite Courser by paying . |
2 | When Hellkite Courser enters the battlefield, it triggers. |
3 | Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Hellkite Courser, adding one mana of any color. |
4 | Resolve the Hellkite Courser trigger, putting Bladewing the Risen from the command zone onto the battlefield. |
5 | When Bladewing the Risen enters the battlefield, it triggers. |
6 | Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Bladewing the Risen, adding one mana of any color. |
7 | Choose to return Bladewing the Risen to the command zone from your graveyard. |
8 | Resolve the Bladewing the Risen trigger from step 5, returning Hellkite Courser from your graveyard to the battlefield. |
9 | Repeat from step 2. |
10 | Once you have infinite mana, you may use it to activate Bladewing the Risen's ability. |
