Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Whenever an opponent controls a nonblack creature, if you control a Treasure, activate it by tapping and sacrificing it, adding . |
2 | Activate Attrition by paying and sacrificing Lucius, targeting a nonblack creature an opponent controls. |
3 | When Lucius dies, it and Pitiless Plunderer trigger. |
4 | Resolve the Lucius trigger, exiling it from your graveyard and targeting the creature that Attrition is targeting. |
5 | Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token. |
6 | Resolve the Attrition trigger, destroying the targeted creature. |
7 | When the creature dies, Lucius triggers, returning it from exile to the battlefield under your control. |
8 | Repeat as needed. |
