Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Whenever an opponent controls a nonblack creature, if you control a Treasure, activate it by tapping and sacrificing it, adding.
- 2Activate Attrition by paying and sacrificing Lucius, targeting a nonblack creature an opponent controls.
- 3When Lucius dies, it and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
- 4Resolve the Lucius trigger, exiling it from your graveyard and targeting the creature that Attrition is targeting.
- 5Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
- 6Resolve the Attrition trigger, destroying the targeted creature.
- 7When the creature dies, Lucius triggers, returning it from exile to the battlefield under your control.
- 8Repeat as needed.
