Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Evereth by sacrificing the persist creature. |
2 | When the persist creature dies, its persist ability and Gorma trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Gorma ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on Gorma. |
4 | Resolve the persist ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it and at least one +1/+1 counter on it due to Gorma. |
5 | Remove a -1/-1 counter and a +1/+1 counter from that creature as a state-based action. |
6 | Resolve the Evereth ability. |
7 | Repeat |
