What do I need to start this combo?
| Kozilek in hand. | |
| All other permanents on the battlefield (Deathrender and Heirloom Blade attached to Kozilek on the battlefield). | |
| There are no other Eldrazi in your library unless those Eldrazi can also shuffle or put themselves into your library upon death. |
Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Kozilek, adding  . |
2 | When Kozilek dies, it, Heirloom Blade and Deathrender trigger. |
3 | Resolve the Kozilek trigger, shuffling it into your library. |
4 | Resolve the Heirloom Blade trigger, causing you to reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal Kozilek and put it into your hand. |
5 | Resolve the Deathrender trigger, putting Kozilek from your hand onto the battlefield and attaching Deathrender to it. |
6 | Activate Heirloom Blade's equip ability by paying , attaching it to Kozilek. |
7 | Repeat. |
