Umbral Collar Zealot
Prerequisites
What do I need to start this combo?
| The Master and Umbral Collar Zealot on the battlefield (The Master as a copy of the creature with persist or the creature with undying on the battlefield). | |
| Persist Creature and Undying Creature in exile (Persist Creature and Undying Creature with a takeover counter on it in exile). |
Steps
How does this combo work?
1 | Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing The Master. |
2 | When The Master dies, if it was a copy of the undying creature, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of the persist creature with a +1/+1 counter on it. |
3 | Otherwise, if The Master was a copy of the persist creature, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of the undying creature with a -1/-1 counter on it. |
