How does this combo work?
1 | Cast Toph by paying its mana cost plus commander tax if applicable |
2 | When Toph enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya. |
3 | Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Toph |
4 | When Toph dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped. |
5 | When Toph enters, its earthbend ability triggers, causing it to earthbend itself as it is a Forest due to Ashaya. |
6 | Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability. |
7 | Repeat from step 3. |
